Dawn A. Hanzlik-Hexemer joined the Law Offices of Amos & Kapral, LLP in 2012.

Ms. Hanzlik-Hexemer is a 1993 graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Hanzlik-Hexemer worked for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia for five years.

Ms. Hanzlik-Hexemer received her Juris Doctor degree from the College of William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Virginia in 2001. She subsequently practiced law in New York for ten years representing financial institutions, loan servicers, and institutional investors in litigation related to origination, loan servicing, foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy in federal and state court. She is also experienced in title resolution, REO, and mortgage banking.

Ms. Hanzlik-Hexemer is a member of the North Carolina and New York bars.

Ms. Hanzlik-Hexemer is married and has twin children. She and her husband are active members of Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory, North Carolina.
